Your Sister In Health
Uzimah is a women's health platform built on trust, evidence, and the belief that every woman deserves to understand her own body.

The Meaning of Uzimah
Uzimah is a Swahili word. It means full of life. It carries health, vitality, and wholeness in a single breath. It describes a state of being energetic and free from sickness, a life lived in abundance and wellness.
Uzimah is a prayer for how a woman should feel in her own body, every single day. She is the one who tells you the truth without judgment. Who answers the question you were afraid to ask out loud. Who sits with you and says, your body is yours, and you deserve to understand it fully.
She is your sister in health.
Dr. Ajui's Story
Dr. Ajui Massateh became a doctor because of the women she grew up watching. Women who had questions about their bodies and nowhere to take them. Women who had been handed decisions about their own health without enough information to make them well.
She sat with those women as a student. She sat with them as a doctor. She sat with them as a woman who understood, in her own body, what it means to want guidance that feels like it was made for you.
She knew that the gap between a woman and good health information was not a gap of intelligence or interest. It was a gap of access, of trust, of a voice that sounded like yours speaking the truth in a language your life could hold. So she built Uzimah.

What CARER Is
CARER is Uzimah's first product, and it was born from one of the most urgent and most overlooked conversations in women's health: family planning.
Too many women in Cameroon and across Africa make decisions about contraception without the full picture. They are handed a method without an explanation. They carry fears rooted in myths that were never corrected. They rely on incomplete information because complete information was never made available to them in a way that felt safe, private, or genuinely relevant to their lives.
CARER exists to change that. It is a confidential family planning companion built specifically for African women. Through CARER, a woman can understand the contraception options available to her, learn how each one works with her body and her life, track her cycle, and access Dr. Ajui's guidance directly, privately, and on her own terms.
The name CARER says exactly what it does. It cares.
